Finally had time to put on my wheels and tires. They've been sitting in the garage for a few weeks!

Its pretty solid welded steel, and doesnt extend too far to the sides of the diff...I can always jack from the sides of the axle like shock mounts or whatever. But with how well its made I imagine I can jack it up from the skid plate itself...maybe take off some of the powdercoat but its looks strong enough. I just wished it had the option of coming without powdercoat. Asked, and they said they do all of them in batches to bring down cost, and bare steel isnt an option...so I guess I got pretty powdercoat to destroy.

Yeah, I have mine set to open drivers side with one push and all with two pushes. I like this because I don't really need the passenger side to unlock every time and having the pop n lock wired to the passenger side makes it so it doesn't unlock every time too.

Matte black often looks "grey" to me on gloss black, but you're right, does look grey.
Thanks for the info! Thats exactly the method I intend to use.

Pretty used to this stuff at work.
