I heard GM stepped up the quality with the C7. Even the guys on Top Gear liked it.

Just do the Duplicolor bed coating and touch up as needed, I did it to my front and rear bumpers and my sliders when I had the Taco and I didn't really treat the limo nice but it held up great.

 

I do know the difference between burning clutch and tires, thank you very much!

I was worried about the clutch in the Subaru, as the 6MT was pretty stout. Best I can tell the Vette's T56 is pretty beefy. They have about equal poor shifting characteristics though. I did Kartboy bushings on the Subaru, which helped a bit though.

 

Anyone ever plasti- dip their bumpers?
thinking about doing the gunmetal on the Tundra to match the wheels.

You could try to match the silver. Might look ok till up close. I agree that black will make it look more base model.

 

Anybody looking for a wheel or two or three of the 2005-2015 TRD OR wheels as I may be purchasing all 4 for a decent deal. Or anybody need some lug nuts?

 

I don't feel as though your truck is an accurate gauge of how something holds up to the weather in New England, since it sees neither snow nor rain...

I haven't dented anything offroad yet. Just a cracked bumper, and tons of pinstriping

 

I've only dented the skids
