They are okay at best. Some shops are great and can get you dialed in, others will barely get you close.

I've not had great luck around Philly, but in VA had a great shop...

Do you have a lift? I've heard they won't align a lifted truck. Also which Firestone did you go to?

I do, but have never had an issue with that. Their techs just suck.

Ardmore and South Philly on Rt 1.

Would you buy it again? It's tempting for me because it's only $150 right now

$179 at NTB for 3 year alignment plan. Brian at the one in Bensalem next to the Philadelphia Mills Mall knows EXACTLY how to get these trucks where they need to be.

Unfortunately that's a bit far from me. I'm also most likely moving in the next year so that's another reason the Firestone deal is appealing

for 150$, yes, I probably would.

If for no other reason than being able to go into a firestone anywhere in the US and get my alignment mostly fixed. They also give you a full list of every other thing that might possibly need work (as their up-sell pitch) which is nice...

The firestone by me took one look at my truck and refused to even touch it. I even got the manager to look and he said not a chance. So just keep that in mind...although I've seen plenty people in this thread with lifted trucks that use them.

It varies by location. The turnover in these chains are craZy. The techs jump around all over. I've seen Firestone's that had terrible sales because they had no A techs in the location and couldn't do any real work. It's going to be a location by location scenario. And then it's going to depend on whose there at the time.

Location to location varies as stated. I go once a month and make them change shit all the time. I call and ask for a day when they aren't super busy and the guy I like is working... this way I can go in the garage and watch and talk with the tech and torque my shit down myself because otherwise my LCA bolts clunk a bit... Im down near philly though.

Beats having to pay 80-100 each time... has paid for itself already

@HolyHandGrenade @Subway4X4 and I all have 3 year alignments with good year....although they also said no lifted trucks, apparently Bobby convinced them he could take care of us.

Nah, no cricket noise. At least not that I'd heard. I had a bad end link, so it was much more of a louder clunk sound. Decided to replace both. I did the bushings because they'd never been done. I opted for the ES greaseable kind, since I ended up having to cut most of the bolts off and they wouldn't come out of the brackets. This was the easiest way to get new brackets.

The only cricket sound my truck has is from my throwout bearing. But that's fairly distinct. Technically it doesn't do it all the time; it doesn't do it when it any pressure is applied to the clutch pedal. But assuming it's not that, springs would be a likely source of noise. Though I'd imagine more of a squeak than a chirp.

I didn't have a 'cricket' sound but awhile back I got this weird click or knock when turning, took off the sway bar and it went away, so I made half inch spacers between the bracket and frame and it seems to have made it go away (or it went away on its own :notsure:) if not that I'd also guess sand or salt or something in the leaf springs

Hmm, interesting. If that even came close to the ARB I'd buy one at half the price of ARB
