Oregon makes you pay for a permit to take your truck out, do they not make enough money from the yearly renewals?

If you could actually go to a Ford dealership and pay that, then yes. I could see it. But you aren't going to be able to pay $37k for an RS.

Finally got some 265/75/16 K02's on it. Makes the truck look much meaner. Also added a dash cam with a front and rear facing camera.

Best thing I've done with the Tacoma though this past week... took it to Asheville NC for our honeymoon! Great and beautiful driving up there. (Yes, now I'm just bragging on her (The wife, not the truck lol))

With the help of my girlfriends dad and uncle, we created a drawer system with a sleeping platform. Only thing we haven't added just yet is some memory foam that we will sleep on. Total cost in supplies was just under $200. However, it took about 10.5 hours of labor.

I have never, and will never buy a car new off the lot. If I was going to get one. I would be getting one in 2-4 years after they work the bugs and or if any issues are found. Overall the car is beast. Thats all I was saying. As a hot hatch its pretty impressive. 350 crank HP in anything is good, let alone a 2.3L 4 banger. Most powerful production 4 cylinder ever I believe.

Not knocking you. This Tacoma is the first car I have ever bought new. I just feel like, for the price, the RS is not worth what it is selling for. Buying a used one in a couple years is a different story. My ST had a 2.0L turbo'd 4 banger and it was a ton of fun to drive. I can only imagine what the RS would be like.

How did you hide the power wires for dash cam and radar detector? Did you remove headliner or just tuck wires? Also can you PLEASE tell me where you’re connecting to get power for camera & radar?

I have the same set up. I just tucked/pushed the wire under the headliner, down behind the pasanger "A" pillar cover, behind the dash and tapped it into the 12v accessory plug
