    I wouldn't wait.

Make sure they know how crappy it is to put out a new vehicle that sounds worse than a 1970 f150

Had a highboy of that vintage, 250 though. Great truck until someone stole it.

    Thanks for the advice.

Around 5000km. Only had it a few months now and haven't had to drive far for work.

Every morning I try to listen for it but nothing.

I'm only going up to 265 70 17 anyways. So if they use that as the excuse that's ridiculous.

If you've got it, it won't be hard to hear. Has a pretty distinctive sound.

Joining the club here! Don't get in the 55mph range very often but heard it last week for the first time. Roughly 450 miles on the truck. Very tight range though seems to happen around 55-58 mph and not very loud (yet). As of now its tolerable, but will def bring it up at my 5k visit and ask for a ride along so I can reproduce or I'm sure they will claim they can't find the noise. I'm just waiting for them to say "your tonneau cover you installed is making the noise"

Once it warms up l think I am going to pull the back seat and put some Dynamat on the back of the cab, maybe that will help lessen the interior volume of the howling.

Well, yesterday l was driving in a rain and wind storm with the radio on and it was all of a sudden audible. (IF) it does not get any louder it will probably be tolerable, l have not got to drive it yet today minus the wind and rain and was just thinking of possible ways to lower the volume of that.

Dang man, that really blows. You saying you're just gonna live with it then? Wow, my tolerance isnt that high. Since you have only had it like a week or so, any thoughts of dumping it now for something else? Just wondering....

No plans to dump my truck. Need to experiment with a few things and also open a case with Toyota. The more people that call in about the issue will eventually make them address the it.

You might have the rear end howl but if you are stating you hearing it in a wind storm better it is probably the holes in you LCA not the rear end noise.

I second this. Very similar sound for me. I just used some duct tape to see if it helps and it did.

It got rid of the howl at 35-45 mph. 55 mph howl is still there.

Try going down a slight grade.....Mine seems to be much louder at 52mph going down hill and slightly feathering the pedal.

Unfortunately l am absolutely positive it was the Rear Diff, there was no mistaking it and l was happy to see that my truck was delivered with the A Arms plugged, but thank you for the input.

Mine occurred right at about 54-55 mph.
