ok... pulled the trigger on the lift this morning....

    Front:
    2nd Gen 5100s set to 0
    OME 888s
    OME trim packer (drivers side)
Headstrong 1/4" Spacer on both sides to compensate for the winch / bumper

    Rear:
    Headstrong 3 leaf AAL
    5100 extended length

If I need to, I'm going to order a carrier bearing drop and diff drop (but either way, those can be installed after I do the lift.)

Thanks again Marie and @HeadStrong Off-Road

yep, fronts will come assembled... and I would like to install the winch / bumper first so I am not putting myself OVER the 3" lift mark.

and the bumper should be here any day now

and speaking of my front bumper, after that ordeal with SOS, when he responded to my email in a less than polite manner, I kept it professional and emailed him my order number as requested, and he STILL hasnt gotten back with me.

I am going to try calling him, and if he's still being rude, I'll cancel the shit out of this thing. I have about had it with this guy.... I dont care how "busy" you are.

Totally understandable. What was the ETA on the bumper anyway?

Damn man that close and you want to cancel? I know its frustrating, but I doubt they would hold off on sending it to you if they never got in contact with you right?

so when I ordered it on February 17th, the ETA was 6-8 weeks.... which put me at April 17th ish

On March 8th he emailed me a status update saying they are ahead of schedule by 2 weeks and that my order will be going out in 3.5 weeks which put it during the first week of April.
I emailed himself March 29th asking for an update and if it was still going out during the first week of April and then again on March 31st (I wanted to make sure the bumper doesn't get delivered to an empty house while I am in Hawaii, and if it was I could arrange to have someone put it inside my house while I'm gone)

He sent me that rude email on April 1st consisting of this: "Can't answer a question sir. If I don't have a order number or invoice. I have been extremely busy as well working to get order out. And bumpers don't get delivered to your door step. They arrive at the 3pl hub."

So I bit my tongue and responded politely with my order number on April 2nd. I have yet to receive an email back at all and today is the 7th.

And I can't find any phone number on his website???

Not really, but you know I don't shy away from any convo anyway! Just saying, its one thing if I had some time left, but to be on the cusp and then cancel? Atleast the next guy in line will likely appreciate it. I think that is where Im different though, if I was at the ETA for it I would have hope and just hold out. I agree though its got to get old especially if there is no solid avenue for communication.

My question is this, can you just outright cancel without a confirmation from SOS or would you play a waiting game with them to confirm you are canceling?

Yea man things can get scary with an item like that arriving to an empty house. I assume you didn't have any neighbors that you could entrust in the delivery of it? Def an interesting pickle.

you can cancel at any time. Or just do a chargeback on your credit card. Its up to the buyer. There are other options to go with. Its not like SOS is making something no one else can make

Just making sure, from the companies I have sourced parts from in the past, I rarely saw a spot where I can just "cancel" my order. That's cool that SOS provides that on the fly ability. I know if I canceled any of my armor, I would of had to have a phone conversation to confirm the cancel to help get the return funds.

I am not SOS. I have no idea what they offer. You can go to their site, and contact them through there. Or just call your credit card company, and do a chargeback. Thats what people were doing on the snorkel gb..

I'm not going to cancel just yet (because what if he really is just cranking it out)

I would just like better communication...

Oh ok, so just a chargeback is the standard way out of it. I was just curious whether they had some sort of system if canceling through them.

So what I did was email him this:

    "Eddy,

This email is in regard to my bumper that I purchased from you. When I ordered it on February 17th, the ETA was 6-8 weeks.... which put me at April 17th ish

On March 8th you emailed me a status update saying that you are ahead of schedule by 2 weeks and that my order will be going out in 3.5 weeks which put it during the first week of April.
I emailed you March 29th asking for an update and if it was still going out during the first week of April and then again on March 31st (I wanted to make sure the bumper doesn't get delivered to an empty house while I am in Hawaii, and if it was I could arrange to have someone put it inside my house while I'm gone)

You sent me a rather rude email on April 1st consisting of this: "Can't answer a question sir. If I don't have a order number or invoice. I have been extremely busy as well working to get order out. And bumpers don't get delivered to your door step. They arrive at the 3pl hub."

So I bit my tongue and responded politely with my order number (682) and asked for a little more details on what exactly a 3pl hub is, on April 2nd. I have yet to receive an email back at all and today is the 7th.

And I can't find any phone number on your website to just give you a call.

I recognize that you are busy, and you might not be used to replying to email communications on a daily basis, but everyone on the forum is telling me that I should cancel my order, but I don't want to. I just want a better line of communication and a little more polite of a response from someone that I gave $700+ I don't feel as if I am asking for too much here.

Let me know what's going on, or if I should take my business elsewhere.

    -Caleb Masters"

If he doesn't respond by Monday when I get home to D.C. I am going to put a stop order and call C4Fab
