Still waiting for a Spotify app to use with Entune.

Although, I use my dad's Pandora from time to time and the user interface on the dash isn't the greatest. Take a while to scroll through various stations, which is more of a distraction that just using my phone to select it.

 

What model entune are you guys using?

I have a 15 entune no nav no jbl. What should be the latest firmware? I have no apps at all as an option...

 

Is yours still a full size touch screen? I have a 15, non JBL, but with nav. I can run out and get the current update version for you.

 

This is mine on a 2014 Model 57092.. You would have to go into the menu to see what your current software is.. The updated software to ones like mine were because they were locking up.

I'm not having issues that I can tell but I keep noticing people have more option than I do on my current model. :dunno:

 

Some models came with Navi and some didn't, but you should still have the other options like weather,phone,messages

 

I have Weather, driver, phone, messages etc. No navi, no maintenance.
I have no pandora or whatever other apps there are. Does my unit get updates?

 

Actually none of ours gets updates either, a lot of people with the navi units were having issues with the radio locking/freezing up, we got the updates by a TSB through the dealer. The radio won't notify you of an update.

I'm not 100% sure but i think you can add some apps through the entune app installed on a iphone

 

This, but when I bought the truck the Pandora, iHeart radio, and I think slacker were already installed. Along with Yelp and someother pointless apps.

 

I see. Apparently, I cant download the entune app. I guess that explains the lack of apps.

Are the apps useless or preferred over BT? Thanks for the help guys

 

You have to download the entune app via iphone or andriod then pair it with your radio

 

says not compatible via vin. But I see others with the same unit have apps I don't

 

That's weird, I'd call Toyota and ask why their shitty radio won't work with their own app
