I think that is fair man, I mean if being constructive can't get a decent reply from him...then I don't know what will besides taking it to the next level in communication that I think you wouldn't want to do as I wouldn't either. I would think since he is busy that he might be working this weekend, but Monday is a good time frame to call it. Atleast you can say you gave your best in being patient with the guy. If they truly are kicking ass and AHEAD of schedule, which many times seems to be the opposite, I cant imagine he wouldn't be happy to confirm that yours is soon to be inbound.

I see both sides here but they are probably just slammed with orders and cant answer emails all day from lots of people. When they find time they update the customers and expect them to be patient. You paid for a product and expected delivery by a certain time. Keep in mind they are ahead of that schedule and did update you with a status. I wouldn't cancel the order now. They also have a FAQ page which clearly states lead times and how they ship. http://sosoffroadconcepts.com/faq/
Having said that they could definitely be better with email/phone call etiquette. Not trying to point fingers just saying.

I just wanna check this bad boy out and hope it turns out to be a quality product. You can always rate the company afterwards and leave them an honest review so hopefully they do better next time.

of course!!! the more the merrier....

plus... us 3rd gen guys have to stick together, all these 2nd gen dudes make me nervous.... :quickdraw:

I agree... I tried to sound polite, but yet relay my frustration. I dont think there is anything else I can do to save this transaction if he doesnt respond.

I agree. I 100% hope this works out. I DONT want to cancel, and I want my bumper! lol but I also need a certain level of responsiveness and customer service... I dont think I deserve an email (when I actually DO get a response) with an annoyed tone for just checking up on how my bumper is coming along. Just a 1-2 line email saying "Yep we're on schedule" or whatever would suffice. It literally takes 10 seconds.

but I hope we've spoken by Monday... If not, I'll take my business elsewhere. haha

And if I do have to cancel, I'm still going to install the lift / wheels / tires, I'm just not going to install the top plate spacers and I'll rely on the OME trim packer to solve my taco lean until the Bumper / winch is on and the suspension has settled.

the trim packer is like 2mm. I actually think the 1/4 spacers that @boogie3478 got were much better. But its your choice.

I wonder if you have to bend the wheel well, like we have to, when installing the UCA. Or did you even order those??

I didnt order UCA just yet, I will wait and see how my alignment turns out.

And yea, that should be perfect, because when I measured the center of the hub to the fender, the difference was negligible (1/8th ish of an inch)

looks like I didnt have to wait long.

Just like I am quick to post my complaints, I'll be just as quick to post my praise...

"Thanks again for your order sir. We were two weeks ahead, but stuff happens. delay in materials etc. Your bumper was cut out today and will have it done mid week ready for line x and hope I can get it back in time to ship next friday. I do apologize for the short last email.

The bumpers ship vis fastenal 3pl. And they get deliverd to their local hubs. Just the same as other freight companies. When the order ships. you'll get a tracking number and point of contact. You dont have to be there when it arrives. They will call you at that time, and you can schdule a pick up."

So I'm happy... I got the response I wanted, and he apologized, and I have a status on my bumper..... so we're all good!

I'm a fan of the top plate spacers. Simple to install, worked out perfectly for my Taco lean.

from all of my reading the 2nd gens Taco lean is WAY worse than the 3rd gens..... I didnt even notice it until I got out my tape measure.... but it's negligible like I said.

Glad to hear it man. I would like to think sos finally got their priorities right communication wise, but I think your constructive email is what did it. Will be cool to see it arrive.

I will be for the near future haha. It wont be till all the dust settles that I start considering what to do next. Still looking at STIs, but anything is possible. Except a prius. That isnt possible.
