I wouldn't say he outplayed him. Bishop had a fantastic playoff up until the first game against us when he got hurt. Vasi filled in and did a fantastic job but that doesn't discount the season Bishop had. He was fantastic last year, no way around that. The contract / Tampa cap situation is more the reason to move on from Bishop, rather than anything performance based. Granted, he wasn't on that level this year, but that whole team has been sub-par, Vasi included. I think Bishop will end up somewhere and continue to be a monster for a few more years.

Could be. Dallas maybe? I can't think of many places that need a #1 goalie. Same goes with Fleury if Pens move him (hopefully not).

I have a feeling LA gets him to go 1 more year. In fact, LA makes serious run next year .. this offseason will be interesting. Sutter gave some subtle hints last night at the press conference.

During 2nd intermission a nice history piece was done by ? (forget his name) the old Stars announcer that just started with LA while Bob's been down. Anyway it was good, as O'Donnell and O'Neil were like how do we follow that up ?!

 

I watched Shitcago get shut out and then swapped to see the Oilers lose by Lucic went beast mode.

Good to see him in top form. He was that way in last years regular season too for LA, then disappeared in the playoffs. And that was a contract year ... Edmonton fans beware the drop off.
