If they make a baby Raptor, hopefully even more so.

    Taco 156.6 feet 90% load 60-0.
    Colorado 152 feet
    Ridge 150 feet

Wow ! 6 feet and 2 feet difference. 2%/3%

BTW check out how they did not like how much sag the ridge had loaded. "it sagged worse than any of its competitors,":turtleride: :rofl::rofl:
"Additionally, the braking feel (a little mushy when empty) became sometimes unpredictable when carrying a nearly max payload."

Talk about overrating. Toyota does not do that, that's why. Research it.

Hopefully something more performance oriented than plastic body moldings, stance and a lightbar.

Had a 1994 XCab 4x4 that got totaled that I loved and wish I still had. Then was in a Honda Accord which I gave to my son for his first car. Then had a 2012 F150 and have moved on to my 2017 been very happy so far rides alot better than the F150.

I was just going to make the same point. The 3.5 seems better matched to the manual. Mine performed quite well with the 6/M, although the transmission itself was too clunky and stiff for my liking. It was not a manual I enjoyed driving, but it made the truck better overall.

It's the gearing... it allows the truck to run like it should.

Stick the MT gears into an AT and all your issues go away.

EDIT: well maybe not ALL issues but you get my drift.

After 1.5 yrs and 25k miles on my '16 DCSBTRDOR I can say I've luckily had zero issues and the truck runs great...it's also crazy to me to hear all the shifting problems I hear everyone talk about on here like it's a new thing...my work truck is a '15 DCLBSR5 and it hunts around for gears possibly even worse than my '16

My buddy works for a petroleum refinery. He says he fucks off the entire time sitting at the console. Literally like Homer Simpson

    Interesting!

I see you're in WV... do you think it's due to the elevation changes?

I'm sure that has a lot to do with it...being in the mountains with any v6 you're going to notice a lot of gear shifting...I just spend a lot of time particularly in my '15 and I notice it hunts for gears just as much...I love my '16 but if I honestly had to do it all over again I'd probably buy a Tundra...v8s seem to get better fuel mileage here because they have enough power to pull the hills with a lot less effort

I lived in Martinsburg, Clarksburg/Bridgeport for 15-20 years. Montana going on 7. One thing I can definitely say is that my Dodge 2500 24v 5spd diesel was a hill conquering bastard. Third gear and gas- not a worry in the world, lol.

Just at a year now with ~7300 miles. No problems so far. I have driven cars with eco mode before and they behave similarly to how the Tacoma is by default. Yes compared to my 2014 Tacoma the transmission does seem to hunt for low rpm but this is to be expected to get the fuel economy. For off-road use the truck is great and ECT gives me the throttle response when I need it.

I've gotta admit that whenever I hear all my buddies talk about how good of fuel mileage they're getting out of their diesels and 1/2 v8's I'm a little jealous...you know, considering I basically paid 1/2 ton price for a light duty truck! Lol...oh well
