That's what my dad says. Says if it was meant to be jacked up and run big tires it would have been engineered that way!! Claims less mechanical issues that way, not sure WTF that means!!

I didn't listen when I jacked a Blazer up 25 years ago so why start now!!

If it was engineered that way, it would cost a fortune. So it isn't and I/we pay a fortune to mod it.

This thread triggers me, intrudes on my safe space bubble and is generally discriminatory.

We will not be silenced, we will not go quietly into the night. We will not cease asking how to fit 33s on a stock ride, and we will endlessly pursue a comfortable ride with a 6" drop bracket lift. Your quiet existence will not live in self-imposed ignorance and WILL hear our mud terrains and our exhausts. Our leaking aftermarket shocks will leave a trail so you can always know we're near. Our vibrating drivetrains will get your girlfriends wet. Your dark thoughts cannot stand up to the power of our lightbars.

I drove past several stock SR/SR5's on my way to work today. And you know? They call to mind the simpler, "old school" basic Toyota pickup from back in the day, when I see them. No frills, just here to work. And I like that.

But I don't intend to stay stock!

One time baldy told me to stop messing with my truck, so I stole his credit card and bought 3 cans of P-Derp. Someone had to show him who's boss.
