Those of you who live in king, pierce, and Snohomish county how much did you pay for your tabs with the gay ass ST3 is happening??? I read up on Senator steve oban and rossis, and they are trying to fight this issue, I emailed the oban, but what they are trying to do is since majority of Pierce voted no they are trying to let pierce opt out of not paying for the tabs. I mean not pay for the ST3 fee. my co worker has a 2010 vette, he has to pay 650 for his tab 560 something for the st3 fee

IMG_2556.jpg I have an extra ticket to see Tom Segura next Friday at 8p at the Moore theater in Seattle if anyone wants to roll. Otherwise, it's going to waste.

That @penguins_cc old one that was in the minor accident?

Yes there are! We reject a lot of stuff that a company makes and supposedly inspects as being SAT that really isn't. Isnt as big of deal for low pressure chilled water lines but for high pressure air and high temp, high pressure lines it is a huge deal (which is where that article was from..parts of main steam lines)

Yeah. I'm still in the air about selling it because I love the bumper but my tires rub the side "wings" of it at full stuff. I'd rather not cut it but I'm not sure.

I would jump on these but I don't wash my truck but once a year...and I am not as careful of rubbing rims against objects that remove the paint or take a chunk out of the rim...

Yep. I went and ruined my F5's when I already had perfectly shitty wheels for that type of situation.

Yeah dude... Do that instead, haha.

When I was getting my Icon's rebuilt a couple years back I bolted in my old Bilsteins. Nope. No thanks.

You wouldn't happen to know if there's a shop local that can rebuild icons? I really don't want to send them out, and I think Polaris uses the same valve as icon for the nitrogen fill. I feel I could rebuild them myself with a new seal kit, then would need someone/where to refill with nitrogen.....

    :notsure:

You have the non-resi ones right? But yeah rebuild is pretty straight forward and similar to every other rebuildable C/O. As for the nitrogen the adapter was like 30-35 bucks when I looked awhile ago. But a motorcycle or bicycle shop might be able to do it as those shocks sometimes use the needle valves.

Lives in Renton (off Maple Valley Highway) and has (had?) a shop in his garage, and also a shop in Tacoma. Was a suspension guy for Team Ducati and has been in the game since 1968.

If you wanted to rebuild them yourself I am sure he would be willing to help with any questions, and fill them up.

He rebuilt mine that Auburn Offroad screwed up while I stood there. Walked me through the process, what he was looking for, what Auburn Offroad screwed up, and ways to tell the condition of the hardware, and not just the seals (that are typically all you replace).

One thing he told me that I found interesting was that you can tell a company that does a lot of R&D by the nitrogen charge. High nitrogen charges are masking poor valving, and poor testing. He showed me an Ohlins shock he was working on that had like 50psi in it lol. It was some custom build off of a Brabus G Wagon

Dropped my driveshaft off at Fleetpride in Tacoma today. After explaining I took it to NW Drivelines and what they quoted me Junior (must be the main front counter guy) took me back and showed me all of their parts. NW drivelines uses chinese u joints, fleetpride uses OEM parts. He was very apologetic that it wouldn't be ready this afternoon and said he would take care of me. So far pretty good customer service from them
