I left all of that. For now. Big pay cut but don't work as much either.
I was burned out. Always being THE GUY. Time to let someone else step up .
I'm not on call anymore. 4 10 hour days.

When I came back from Asheville I took the southern route and came up from below charlotte before going around it and on to Greensboro. I bet I wasn't terribly far from you when I went through SC

It has a bit more carbonation than I like but sour comes thru nicely without being overpowering. With Rogue Ales being there in Oregon, did you have time for a brewery visit?

Good evening and welcome to the new young ketchup eating folks! :D Send scrapple....

Took the day off to shoot sporting clays today woke up and it was 27* had to scrape ice off the truck. Sunny, no wind, and hit 55* what a perfect day! 3 hours on the road to and from shot 120 clays, ate lunch at the club house and made it back around 4 in time for about an hour nap. Great day now spend most of the weekend working around the yard and house. Weather guessers claim it might hit 70 tomorrow. And then several days of Thunderstorms come through. Think some of the squill will flower tomorrow and there is no snow on the ground that's a new one for the books.

Thank you and others for the welcome. I am thinking Culpeper is fairly close to where my family travels to fish for croaker and cats. Town is Tappahannock, river is the rappahannock. We come for the croaker tournament in may held by the rotary club. I love it there!

Boy did I know that route well at one time. When I was on recruiting duty in Asheville and covered WNC MEPS was in Charlotte applicants had to be on deck by 0600. Drove that in my sleep more than once, quite literally. Usually taking 74 across. That afternoon traffic coming back and getting out of Charlotte was enough to drive a person crazy.

Yeah at one time knew every stone on the Davidson river from the hatchery down to the CCC camp. I like Brevard and Pisgah National Forrest, great area. Spent a lot of time there.
