How far of a drive would this be for me coming from Vail?

 

1.5 hours down I-70, about 90 miles.

 

However long it takes you to get to Golden

I'll send directions tonight or tomorrow to the pimps on the list.

 

I think Lambo's are the ones with an engine fire mod.

And I had the Silverado and the Taco for 40k miles now... Silverado had less issues and it had a 130k mile head start.

If you had issues with yours, gonna go out on a limb and say the driver was 98% to blame.

 

Weather outlook is great for the next while..

Hopefully warm enough to melt all the snow on the deck that's in the shade since i don't want to shovel it.

 

Haha I wish, I'm an hour away and it's hard to borrow a vehicle for the day. If it gets done on Saturday (very slim chance) I'll add myself again.

 

Mod, Meet BBQ & BS Day

Where: Golden Gate Canyon (Directions to come later, 10ish min from 93)
When: Who knows... all day?
What: Mod day, BS, BBQ

Gonna try and get this organized early this time so it can be a good event. If you're attending, copy the post, add yourself to the list, if you're going to bring food, and what time you think you'll be wanting to head up add that in so we can know whats up.

I have a decent amount of tools, some specialty stuff, two floor jacks, one set of 'truck' jack stands, two sets of 'car' jack stands, 12 ton press, a "baby" welder (no gas). If you have anything specific you need post it up and someone may be able to bring it. @iRideMTBsaid he'd be up for helping out with mountain bike stuff if anyone has something they need done.
Parking is no issue and there is an area that would make for a sweet group picture if we get a good number of people. There may be a little precipitation later in the day, but the garage is plenty big to use one of the bays as a hangout if the weather gets bad. If someone has cornhole boards or some games that would be cool as well.

@j0shu4 Hey bud look at the pervious post. There is a TW mod day and BBQ. You should come out and meet some more guys. Pretty sure they will over Turbo. Yes turbo 1st gen. Anyways if you have time. Plus you'll be able to check out my head lights in person. It also gives me a chance to check out your paint job.

I won't need the welder anymore I took care of it already. So I'll be leaving home about 830-9ish. Also looks like Corey will make it too. He will have is little boy with him.

 

Does someone want to help me change my spark plugs at tomorrow's event?
I think I can do it but may need some heckling to get through it

 

I've always wanted to unthread a spark plug until it has a thread left, start the engine and see how far it can fly...

Sounds like we'll have 6 opportunities.
