Here's how it really happened. Jesus was a human. Back in the days of Jesus, people were very gulable and basically simpletons. There was not much going around in terms of itelligence and there was little information sharing. Just like the Warren Jeffs of today, Jesus, who was ahead of his time in terms of itelligence was able to dupe large numbers of people into following his teachings. To them he became godlike and he amassed a huge following. In essence it became like a huge corporation and people were appointed to write a bible to keep the masses in awe and miracles were fabricated to keep the simpletons beleiving and entertained. Concurrently, in other cultures, leaders were evolving in a similar way with their own teachings and this is how other religions came to be. There were no checks and balances back then and these leaders were never taken to task. They duped their entire poulations. Their teachings became basis of everyones beleifs when in fact it was all total nonsense. The nonsense became fact and today huge amounts of gullible people believe that it is all fact.

That is called a hypothetical. If you read it and respond, we can chat about it. Otherwise you can just make fun of what you dont understand.

I see you never left so I assume you have something to prove?

How about starting with this: prove to yourself that god is a real thing, and then come back here and let us all share in your wisdom.

Otherwise, your faith is the same as my faith- and I might as well believe my shoe is god. I have faith that you'll be back with some nonsense, but go ahead and try to prove your gods existence.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
Televangelist Rod Parsley informed his flock in December that he urgently needed several million dollars because of financial problems attributed directly to Satan. According to a report in the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch, Parsley's World Harvest Church was facing a $3 million deficit for the quarter ending in December after earlier in the year paying $3.1 million to settle a lawsuit over its day-care center's having too brutally spanked a boy. Wrote Parsley, "Will you help me take back what the devil stole?"

    Dear God,
    Hope you got the letter,
And I pray you can make it better down here.
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer,
But all the people that you made in your image,
See them starving on their feet,
'Cause they don't get enough to eat

    From God,
    I can't believe in you.

    Dear God,
    sorry to disturb you,
but I feel that I should be heard loud and clear.
We all need a big reduction in amount of tears,
And all the people that you made in your image,
See them fighting in the street,
'Cause they can't make opinions meet,
    About God,
    I can't believe in you.

Did you make disease, and the diamond blue?
Did you make mankind after we made you?
    And the devil too!

    Dear God,
    Don't know if you noticed,
But your name is on a lot of quotes in this book.
Us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look,
And all the people that you made in your image,
Still believing that junk is true.
Well I know it ain't and so do you,
    Dear God,
    I can't believe in,
    I don't believe in,

I won't believe in heaven and hell.
    No saints, no sinners,
    No Devil as well.
No pearly gates, no thorny crown.
You're always letting us humans down.
The wars you bring, the babes you drown.
Those lost at sea and never found,
And it's the same the whole world 'round.
The hurt I see helps to compound,
that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
    Is just somebody's unholy hoax,
And if you're up there you'll perceive,
That my heart's here upon my sleeve.
If there's one thing I don't believe in...

    It's you,
    Dear God.

Until this poll I didn't realize that catholics weren't christians. Personally I think its all a bunch of pagan superstition.

Having "Catholic" and "Christian" is a bit redundant, unless you meant non-catholic Christian, i.e. Baptist, Evangelist, Protestant, etc...

Christians don't believe anything is Christian except for "CHRISTIAN"
So to Christians, Catholic is not Christian and to top that Christians don't like or trust Catholics. (I have felt this myself so don't try to tell me I'm wrong) For the record Catholic IS Christian.

I have decided that until Christians believe that Christians are Christians I will watch from the sidelines..
Former Catholic, (and thanks to distrust felt from Christians) "Irreligious"
    (I think).

    Heres a quote I like

There are none more ignorant and useless, than they that seek answers on their knees, with their eyes closed. --Unknown

No, we cant stop bashing religion- its too easy!

The Vatican is covering up sex crimes and the "criminals" are getting slaps on the wrists or no punishments at all!

Its time to stop believing in fairy tales and supernatural supermen (who there is no honest proof for, btw, that's what "Faith" is) and time to start prosecuting people for who they really are- pedophiles and rapists.

    It's. Just. That. Easy.

Wanna see more? You can click this anytime for an updated and endless list of sec crimes performed by oh-so-pious, do-as-I-say, religious "men of the cloth."

Or you can open today's paper and you're pretty much bound to see, on page 3 or so, some place where the religious folks are trying to take children away from lesbian parents - in effect - punishing the children for choosing lesbian parents... I'm not kidding, religious people are just. that. sick. But incidentally I found a related story where a religious school has turned away children- clearly "god hates" them- they are being raised by 2 women. Ohhh the horrors! The sanctity of my marriage is at stake- these women love each other and are giving a good home and a catholic school education to their child- let's punish them and make a mockery of their lives in a public way.

But let's see- divorce is big business!

According to the Canon Law Society of America, St. Louis Catholics spent $473,000 on annulments in 2008.

Good old religious people. The first to hate. The last to hate.

I suppose I should post a smiley now so you guys wont bash me! Nah. I wonder if there's a little devil one or something... let me check... oh man there is! You guys seem to love the little smiley faces... Ahh nevermind. I gotta go to bed.
