Spotted this guy on 680 again. Your buddy @jAndyMendo?

Edit: When I see a lifted Dodge with a plate bumper, there usually isn't a mutual acknowledgment. But when the rig is EAF, the other driver and I usually wave to each other like dorks. Happens with Sportsmobiles, XTerras, Frontiers, Landrovers... basically any armor- clad vehicle with a bunch of stuff attached to a swingout, bedrack, or roof rack.

Doesn't really happen with Jeeps though. Not sure why. I don't make up the rules.

You don't look EAF to them. You look like a gardener.

    Newb here. What is EAF.

I think I get the AF part.

    Easy AF?

Edit: expedition af. Got it, maybe?

Clearly you cannot be EAF yet because what is EAF is not talked about.

Not sure where this is going yet. Somewhere on the swingout when it gets fabricated next month.

My work truck is a 2wd double cab Tundra with no company logos (yet). I don't wave to anyone because I'm invisible to them.

In the Tacoma, I look like a prepper. Then they see an Asian dude and get confused. Either way, people tend to speed up when I'm passing them on the left and I have to cut them off. You know, I'm going 72 in the 3rd lane, someone's going 63, I get into the fast lane to pass, try to get back in the 3rd lane, and the fucker who was going 63 is right next to me. Speed up to 75, then 76...fucker is still there. Drop it into 5th, get up to 80, and cut that fucker off. They drop back and start going 63 again. Then I'm the asshole in the popup camper who cuts people off. Happens often.

TL;dr: I look like an asshole- not a gardener.

I feel your pain but we don't have "lanes" instead I'm passing on a dotted line with potentially oncoming traffic and the assholes do the exact same thing.

It's like; if you just drove that speed then I wouldn't need to pass you fkr.

odd, I've not experienced too much of that in my bone stock silver Taco AC TRD. I tend to cruise about 8-10 MPH over the speed limit, and am generally comfortable taking corners a fair bit faster than the average slacker. I do find I don't drive as aggressively in the Tacoma as I do in my cars (formerly an older Volvo turbo wagon, now a couple different older mercedesm, a 260E and a 300CE). I don't tailgate, and when I do pass, I make sure I've got plenty of speed delta going before they even have a chance to speed up.

Some people just have an uncontrollable itch in their head every time someone starts to pass them. I usually try not to pass people, else I'd get angry. Although when I notice someone doing that I start playing games, with no intention of changing lanes. I'll just make it look like I'm trying to change lanes over and over and see how often they try to block me. It's so entertaining you can see them losing hair.

    Also V8?

It's the camper, insecure wussies don't want to feel immasculated (sp?) by having a winnebago pass them in the left , lol

It's a camper thing. People don't want to be passed or "stuck" behind a camper. I have CC on quite a bit and drive a consistent speed. And appropriate speed for the lane I'm in. I don't get that treatment in any other vehicle. Maybe a little bit in the minivan, but that thing is pretty fast and AWD so I just punch it and take my spot.

I pass when someone is driving too slow for the lane they are in, fluctuating their speed, or early- braking.

In the work truck (V8), I also just punch it and take my spot. Doesn't happen very often though. Again, it's has everything to do with the camper.
