Preventative maintenance day on the taco. Extended the front diif and ADD breather away from the wheel well. Where toyota has the breathers is right where all the dirt gets flung. Had to slip a piece of 1/4in hose over the small breather hose to extend it. Also covered up the cabin air filter opening with some aluminum mesh and some caulking to prevent future mice problems. Mot the prettiest job but does the trick, just have to drive with the windows down till the caulking cures hahaha

Finally did a very long overdue oil change (last one was done in March last year!:anonymous:) and gave it a wash.

I drilled a hole in the frame of the bed, then tapped the hole so the bolt would thread in. Then ran the bolt through the pvc with a nut between the bed and pvc. Then tighten up the nut against the bed. Now you have a solid post that the pvc can rotate on. Just got some rubber bump stops that the pvc sits on so I don't rattle in the bed. Works well so far.

Annoying rattle in the passenger door when it was opened/closed. Since I'm planning to deaden and insulate (sound) the entire cab as much as possible at some point this summer, I figured I'd just get the dynamat done on this door while I'm at it. Full layer on both panels. Because I'm going to be installing new component speakers soon I left the area right around the speaker alone, that will get done up nicely when they go in. Such a satisfying sound when a fully deadened door is shut for the first time.

Today I acquired a set of Husky WeatherBeater floor mats. They are guaranteed for life! The rugged and sporty WeatherBeater Floor Liners perfectly conform to the contours of my 2007 Tacoma and offer un-beatable carpet protection for whatever nature hurls at me or whomevers kid hurls in them.

Today was a fun day of mods. I fixed my Aux adapter thanks to the forums. Retired my chrome bully Bar
    Old School pic.jpg20170408_111523.jpg

Thanks to @Matt123 for the BPF Skid Plate (spring sale is going on) and @ACEkraut for his no drill front license plate holder I was able to go to this
    New look.jpg underneath.jpg

Also replaced the shift knob and antenna

Next up is looking into new tires and new rims - I plan on getting the Matte grey TRD OEM wheels - and probably the KO2. I am still TRD Sport OEM suspension might go for level. Haven't decided yet.

A friend of mine has them on his diesel chevy and he doesn't like them. He said they wander on the highway. He said he would rather have st maxx. He doesn't off road at all so no word on that.

It's off since I am in the middle of a few other projects. Radio is just resting in there too. I have to wire the seat heaters yet. Have to do all the speakers too and install the leather cards on the door panels.
