Those are body mount bushings. Not that he 'needed' them

You're also high elevation. I think it got dark at 8 here (sea level)

OEM body mount bushings are shit. These are super soft and durable. Extremely happy.

May have provided a fraction of a lift. Nothing noticeable really.

 

Yeah, especially with the extreme offset and backspace my wheels have. Pretty much ready now.

 

With all the BS pampering you do to that bish you better go dirty-5's or gtfo

Is this an affordable mod?

Because it looks like a lot of work! Taking out a good bit of interior, to do the rear anyway

 

Yes it is!!! The entire kit was under $80 IIRC.

It wasn't THAT bad, but there was a bit of work involved.

I love small subtle things that make a real difference.

This is definately one of them.

I wonder if it's the same frame as a DC and the mounts are under the bed...no clue

I would venture to doubt that. If they're cab mount bushings, they'll be under the cab. Did you guys have to support the cab while you swapped them out? I can see this being a scary moment

 

This looks time consuming AF. Good stuff though.

 

Haha, yeah. Makes sense, "cab" mounts.

Yeah, was awesome watching the body come off the frame.

Had to disconnect the steering column when doing the driver's side.

 

Well to hell with all that then lol!

When mine dry out or squeak from wheeling, then I'll replace em.
