They had me fooled. Glad there was a twist. The wild cards do take out a lot of predictability.
Sure don't get the gibberish speak though. Seems too tough of a world to put that much effort into speaking funny.
Now if they run into "Moonshiners"? That'll be great. And really, that part of the country. You know they're still out there alive.

season 8 is going to open as Rick is lying in bed in Atlanta hospital as hes waking up to his heartbeat monitor, Dr. Negan comes in and checks on his patient...and Shane is standing guard outside his room...and the last 7 seasons has been a figment of Ricks coma...

A couple of thoughts...First, if we're going to call out this show because no one can hit anything, I think we need to start calling out all those shows where the good guys hit everything. To me that's as improbable as what we see each week on TWD.

Second, I have to wonder about Eugene's condition because of his part in Sasha's death.

Third, as has been said on here multiple times, how can we say "it's not realistic" about a show that's about zombies, for pete's sake. The very premise of the show is in realistic.

And finally, in answer to a question, I'm watching "Into the Badlands" again. I really like the show, but it's really unrealistic (see what I did there?). The only thing I can complain about is that it's been so long since the first season that I can't remember what led to Sonnie's capture, and I forgot to record it when they replayed it prior to the new season starting, and it's not AMC's website, and I don't do Netflix.

I'm liking ITTB. First season's on Netflix for those who want to catch up.

    I'm getting tired of TWD's soap opera pacing. T h e y d r a g e v e r y t h i n g o u t a s l o n g a s p o s s i b l e and now it's getting sappier by the season. I might start watching next season and see if Rick nuts up or if they're going to continue the chinese water torture. Yeah, things came to a head in the finale, but I'm not convinced the inevitable won't continue to remain out of reach for a season or two beyond that.

Everyone talking realism and about people not able to hit a dude with his middle finger out side of a 7 ton. No one wants to address the fact that a guy is walking around with a damn pet tiger on a chain that hasn't ripped his face off yet.

I think the problem for me is the touch and go they do with the comics. Trying to please fans who don't know or read the comics and also trying to tie in story lines from the comics to please those who have. It's just not working for me. The whole Rick and Michonne thing seems forced and it's killing my view of the badass character that Michonne was. Now she's playing double duty for another character who was already killed in the show but not the comics. AMC has it's greedy fingers dragging the show along and Scott Gimple wants the show to last twenty years. With the writing they have now it's going to be rough for some fans myself included.

Yes. 20 yrs. is pretty farsighted. It would need to evolve into another family (I guess)
He brings up the Simpsons lasting so long but I don't know if he realizes the vast majority of Simpsons watchers is a different generation than started out watching. I know I stopped around yr. 7 or 8. I see Grandkids of friends watching once in awhile.
