Could be the video. The light output looks weak. How does the output compare to oem?

Eh. I prefer the switch backs better. They're supposedly brighter too.

Cool, is there a way to disable the 'light off' state so that when DRLs are on and you use your blinker it just alternates between white and amber? I realize the oem legal requirements, just wondering if its possible as it looks much better.

Yes we actually wired the this way so the colors don't bleed into each other

These can also be wired to keep white on all the time even when blinker is activated. Problem is blinker will blink to fast to really notice any alternation.

Why does anybody care about the light output of an accent piece. It's not going to provide light that you could use at night. That is what your headlights are for. This is literally just to be seen. As an accent. Output doesn't matter

Looks good OP. I'm sure you'll sell quite a few here

So I'm actually a diode dynamics dealer and this has nothing to do with them and they have switchbacks as this have color changing ability and switchback. Not the same board.

These are also not for sale and are only for builds we sell to customers.

Again if anyone wants just switchbacks we would use diode dynamic boards but sense diode doesn't have color changing capabilities we had these made for us

Cool. Not a fan of RGB, but kudos for making your own.
Are those toned down on a PWM... or is that full output?? Cuz they look pretty dim...

UMMM because that strip is for "DAYTIME" running lights.. and in the daytime you want them as bright as possible for other drivers to be aware of you.
IMO, I'd rather it be 1 color and brighter VS RGB that is dimmer. Koito spent some time and $$ designing the optics, lens, and drivers for a reason.

Ditto! Its not an accent piece if it serves a function. And this would appear, at least in the video, that this light would act more as an "accent piece". Especially considering that it changes RGB.
