Don't take these forums for everything. Nobody ever complains about their truck being great.

There is great info here though. When I lifted my truck I didn't know my boots would crap out quickly. After reading several threads I started watching them and sure as shit they blew but I caught it soon enough that I can fix with only new boots. You have to choose who and what you listen to here, some people bitch about every damn thing.

How did you reset the code while on the road? Did you have a tool, or just disconnected the battery?

I just disconnected the battery for ten minutes. Luckily I keep a Gerber in my center console or I would have been screwed. Now I need to go out and buy a basic tool set for this thing in case something like this happens again.

Mine just did this too. I did not disconnect the battery, I just waited 5 minutes. But I still have the check engine and TRAC OFF light.

Interestingly, the accelerator feels way more sluggish and the trans is all wonky.

I'll call the dealer tomorrow. This thing is a real heap.
