Any comments on finding a decent repair / mechanical shop book for the 2009 Reg Cab I have? I suppose the Haines book is about all that is out there correct? Not trying to rebuild the motor, but I do get into the bits and take apart once in awhile. Thanks!

    A thing or two...
Haynes and Chilton both my repair manuals for 2gen Tacomas. I've got the Haynes and haven't had any issues with it. A set of FSMs would be best but they're expensive and hard to find for sale online. As @whipper posted, you can find the FSM in pdf online, but I find it a PITA to find what I need that way. I'd rather have a physical book.

Thanks for the comments! I did get the factory wiring manual to help with some added stuff I did, and that book is hard to understand, but very thorough. I'll keep my eye open for a FSM, and get a Haines in the meantime.

FSM. I've used Haynes for a Jeep in the past and torque specs were garbage

@IronPeak was it you who posted on this recently with another name?

Someone posted the same company who writes the FSM. Wasn't a company I'm familiar with.

Holy good god we have been arguing about the capacity of a 2tr-fe on here forever. That service manual spells it out plain as day.

I believe the big argument was whether or not the manual was referencing the dry fill capacity.
