    Hi guys,

It is worse than before... even when I move the fuel pump to replace it and change position, it keeps stopping like it is full but the tank is almost empty so it is not the problem.

Do you think I can do something to fix it?

    ;)

Check your evap canister? Usually when people refuel their cars/trucks and it stops on the first click some people tend to force more fuel into it which eventually goes into the evap canister damaging it. Don't know your year or history of your truck so can't say else you have done to the truck.

    Thanks,

    It's a 2008 TRD Sport 4X4 with 35000 miles on it
Where is the evap canister situated?

Do you mean the gas station pump? Or your trucks fuel pump?

    A thing or two...
Have you tried another gas station or different pump at the same station? Every once in awhile you just a screwy pump. Also, are you pumping with the handle squeezed wide open or are you pumping slow. Again, some pumps are just screwy and kickoff easier if you're pumping at full flow. I always just set the lever on the first latch point. It doesn't take that much longer, and I almost never have a problem.

I've also always filled past the first cut off and never had a problem with the evap. I fill to the 4th cut off which isn't even an extra gallon past the first cut off, but it's a habit now and don't plan on changing.

Yes I tried different gas station of different brands and I think when I just purchased my Tacoma it didn't made that.
Also yes I pump at full flow but it shouldn't be a problem normally

If the tank isn't venting properly, it will make the pump kick off too soon.

I have that problem to, but only at random pumps at different stations. I found that if I pull the nozzle out a bit, like an inch, it all works like it supposed too. Im thinking that the tolerance between the nozzle and hole is way to close so the fumes cant escape causing the pump to think its full.

I use to have an 01 RAV4, i stopped buying gas at the Amoco down the street because their pump constantly shut off on me. I noticed this problem with Pilot stations also. I think some stations just have pumps that don't like Toyotas for some reason.
