@Nicetacobro looks relatively dry on that gravel road. How'd the trails hold up? Swampy?

    It's Taco time
Homeslty looks like they brought in some new gravel for some of the trails. It wasnt to bad. I mean dont get me wrong any regular puddle was 3 times its original size but main trails were not "soupy" as i expected. There is alot of new yellow signs on side trails from dem stating no unautorized vehicles. Most of which are around the red GW gates. As i was leaving threw the back side of the trail's is when we say the Hyundai, I only did a straight run threw as i dont have my MT's back on the truck yet.

Are the signs only on the side trails? I really want to hit the infamous "RI spot" this spring/summer but only if it's completely legal. Not worth driving 90min for a trespassing ticket. My freshly lifted jeep is itching to hit the trails

There are a lot of legal trails there. The only stretch is two optional gas line sections which don't really make or break the trail and they are not in the Management Area anyway. I am curious if these new signs are blocking the two/three internal trails that DEM just opened this past month. However they didn't indicate to me they were closing them, however....they hadn't seen the dumping at that point. I guess we'll find out next run.

Can we do a vote to see how many people can show up on saturday or that sunday. If 80% can make it sunday then the other 20% needs to request the day off? It would be nice to get a huge group to go. Sit in the sand pit, have fun, cook dogs, bullshit, etc:boink:

I put out a request to the crew and asked if they could make it Sunday Steve. I've moved this twice already so I don't want to drive them nuts, but it can't hurt to ask!

Okay. Switched to Sunday 23 April Steve! We'll get the crew there. So that should help out a bunch of folks too. *IF* the weather looks lousy on Sunday - rain, then we can always try Saturday, as Sunday would be washed out anyway. But for now - Sunday! Steve - bring that grill...I'll bring the hibachi this time as well. Open grill, though I'll likely bring some dogs and burgers & buns/rolls as they frown on you taking just a couple out of the package at store.
