What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Never mind, I had too many beers. I didn't put the intake tube back on. Idles fine, gonna swap out the old plugs for new plugs. Will report back

We are golden. Thank you and @Squeaky Penguin you guys rock. Replaced all plugs and wires and it's good to go. Can't thank you guys enough. Fucking had the wrong wires to the wrong plugs. Thank you for making my Sunday fellas!

GREEN,

 

So everything has power, but no green light and no output. Checked with a light test and every terminal has power. What's wrong now??

 

Do you have the Sub enabled on the HU? As in turn the sub on? Most units ship with it off.

 

Never mind. Just looked at your HU specs.

Doesn't have sub outs just Front and Rear.

 

It's currently set to sub,w

 

Remote wire sending signal?

 

Should be, the check light illuminates when the trucks on.

 

I've also tried both sub outputs and nothing. Don't know how I went from a red light to not even a green light. All fuses are good.

 

Both RCA ports should be plugged in to the Rear/SW ports and both on the amp.

The fact that it isn't turning on though is odd. I think the remote wire isn't right.

 

This is the remote output. The amp asks for a 16 gauge or bigger wire. I think the one coming from the head unit is like an 18 and I think I used a 16 on the other side. Not 100% sure, looks about the same though.

 

Everything's plugged in too.

 

Red light just popped back up.

 

I took one look at this, the dozens of other new parts and said nope not today.
