I'm buying a 2004 Taco here pretty soon it is radiant red, I can't decide if I should go with some factory 4Runner 5 spokes powder coated black or the SCS F5s. What do you guys think? I love the offset of the F5s because I have fender flares so if I went with the 5 spokes I'd probably have to get some spidertrax spacers. But i have the 5 spokes already and could get them powdercoated for pretty cheap so cost would be a lot less. I plan on keeping the truck for a long time. It's a 3.4 5 speed extra cab with a paint matched canopy and 115k on it. No locker but that will come soon any input would be great of what you guys think.

everyone loves the 5 spokes, they are classic. SCS F5s are sexy, and with 3.5 you'll get that poke you want. If poke is important, you have to go SCS. If money is a factor, you stick with the ones you got. Both will look good.

Hey guys just recently picked up my truck so I have been lurking Around for a few months but only made an account today lol. First pic is with sr5 4runner rims with 255/75/17 tires and second pic is with the 15 inch Mickey Thompsons that came with truck when I got it. Tire size is 31x10.50

Thanks!! I actually never cared for these rims when I had them on my 2014 4Runner but once I seen people putting a more aggressive tire on this rim it changed my mind about them lol.

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. Forgot to mention, but if you buy these methods they have hubcovers on them and the only way to take them off is to take the wheels off. I didn't think I would do anything that require me to lock my hubs so it wasn't that big of a problem for me until this happened. I took the covers off the next day. I left the little sleeve on but took the cover off to make it look nice and useable.
