    Jose basin is a good beginner trail if you want put your 4wd ability to the test. Haven't been there for over 10 years, not even sure if it still exist..

    it's on Jose Basin Road, heard other people call it Jose Basin OHV?? But it's located in Fresno county. Probably won't recommend 2wd truck when ground are soft and wet.

    This is what I found:
    Take highway 168 east, drive pass Prather going towards Auberry turnout and turn left on Auberry road heading to Mono Winds Casino. Drive through the town, when the road forks, keep right. keep your eye peel for Jose Basin road.

    Google or YouTube it. Plenty of people been there.

    I been to Jose Basin a few years ago following my co-worker and their jeep crew. Not sure how to get there but definitely not a 2wd friendly trail when wet, will probably have a fun time when it's not wet. But I think we detour from basin to another trail, tho not 100% sure. Some part of the trail, you can veer off and hit rock pile and other area on the trail have very large erosion dirt hole. Will probably recommend 33 to stay issue free if staying on trail only.

    Yea 16. Bought it to hunt but it's heavier than my other ruger American compact 308. Sorta sight it and put it away for like two years now
