    Hey guys, so i was using a compressor to air up my tires earlier and when i pulled the air line of the compressor off my passenger side front tire, im not sure what i did, but air is coming out,kinda like if u held a knife or screwdriver to air down. I tried my arb rapid deflate kit to tighten up the pin inside (im not exactly sure what u call this) but it doesn't work. I guess maybe its broke. My question, can i buy this pin from a tire shop, and just put it in?

    sounds like the core is damaged,, need tool to remove the core, and replace with new core , or a completely new valve stem

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    dribble some dish soap around the area and let the bubbles tell you where the leak actually is. You may have torn the base of the stem itself.

    The 'thingy' is called a Schroeder valve.

    Edit: Schrader valve. :D

    Any parts house should have them. If not separately, just buy a stem and move the valve from it to yours.

    I guess if you are a Prime customer and can afford the down time Amazon is fine, just offering an alternative

    Yes the valve cores are pretty much a standard to Cars/Trucks. Large trucks(semis) and bicycles may use a different style.

    Also grab these caps, with seals. They will help temporarily seal air if you have a damaged valve core, not a permanent fix.
