Since studs sheared off, not sure if I could file that as anything. Have a line on a fender for $60 but paint is going to suck

I'm super tempted to get in their group buy. Would love to have a fridge for trips and general use. Now to justify to the wife it's worth it when a bag of ice and $50 Coleman cooler can do pretty much the same for most of our needs haha.

That's weird. I'm really trying to figure out what will be nice to have for camping this summer and what isn't necessary. Fridge seems unnecessary but also super helpful. Hmmm

Also made a deal for some 255/85 BFG KM2's and FJ Trail team wheels for the 4runner. Just got my 285's but they were a temporary buy as they only have 5-7/32 tread and I just wanted something to get me on the trails. Now to decide if I swap the F5's or just rock the FJ's. Thinking more and more I will keep the 3rd gen since it's built already and most comfortable for the kids/wife if they come wheeling. Plus may be able to piece a parts SC I have together so vroom vroom.

Keep the FJ wheels. You don't want a 255 mm tire on an 8 inch rim

I think a fridge would be useful if you run long trips. For a long weekend, I'm cool with the RTIC cooler I got and some ice. Keeps things cold for plenty long enough and was less than half the price.

I do think having a fridge would be sick though. Just couldn't justify it to myself

If I didn't hate shipping wheels, I'd sell them to you...haha They are only 4.5 BS and spray painted, but still look good.

Yeah I'm interested to hear how it all works out.

Good point, plus this is a trail rig, so might as well keep the wheels that are beat up already.

That's my thoughts as well. Hmmm

No plans to head south till October, but if he is interested, there are NorCal guys that go down frequently.

Anybody built a shower out of a Jerry can? I had Amazon credit and bought a 5 gal water can (plastic). Since I have the carrier now.

Thinking attach and air valve and a shower head to the cap. Pressurize with a bike pump or compressor, shower?

I appreciate the generosity but I'll be in Europe in August till school starts and I'll probably be working every weekend after that to help recoup some of the funds l blow over there. Not sure when I'd be able to make the trip down to SC.

@4x4runner2002 is thinking about making one out of a pelican case. Not sure how he's planned on pressurizing it though.

He's on a boat for at least another week (I think) so not sure how timely his response will be
