    Get a 10" set and zip them off after torquing them down.

    @Sna

    How thick is the AAL? I have a full dakar pack with 3 degree shim. I can measure u bolt length for you.

    I'm not sure how thick the aal is....it's the same as the 3rd leaf in the Dakar pack.

    Thanks for the picture. That's the same shim I have...are those the OME u-bolts? If so then they are 7.25" as measured from the inside of the flat to the end of the threads.

    They are 8" u bolts. I got them from arb. I still have the 7.25" bolts. They were not long enough for me.

    Well that's good and bad news because that means my OME ones won't work with the Dakars and 3* shim. Well this confirms that I'll need longer u-bolts regardless. The d29xl is probably another 1/4"-3/8" so I should be looking for at minimum 8.5" u-bolts. Thanks for this info!!

    If you don't have any extra weight on the rear of the truck and you truly want 3-4" you probably want dakars with an extra leaf. It'll be real stiff though. I'd aim for less lift unless you're a prerunner then I'd go spindle lift and blocks (unless you plan to mob the desert).

    ^ This. We 4WD DC's need to add a little more to get a little more (lift). I myself am gonna install just the Dakars with the intention of netting 2.75" so adding the D29XL should get you to at least 3.75"

    886s then. I only have about 2.25" out of mine with bumper, winch, and armor so if that is the road you go down you might want to rethink trying to get 4" in the rear.
