Doesn't look lifted to me at all.

If you want to know for sure, take pics of the suspension.

"Lifted already," could be meaning it's 1" taller up front than the second gen trucks were.

I did measure yesterday and the front was 31" from floor to start of fender and back was 35" from floor to start of fender.

Your truck is not lifted. That looks to be stock height.

Dealers are known to put spacer lift kits on the truck but it doesn't seem like they did on yours.

Ok. For stock it is higher than I thought it would be. The other Tacoma I was going to buy was lower. I have to pull myself in.
What is the tallest lift kid I can install before I have to modify any break lines or any other item?

2.5" front, 2" rear to be safe before you need to start looking at other things to replace with it such as control arms

he'd STILL need a brake line extension bracket even for a 1.5" lift in the rear I believe???

I guess it has more to do with the shocks...I put 5160s on mine and it came with the brakeline extension bracket.

Would be the smart/safe idea to to the extension. When I pick up the 2018/19 taco I will be going that route but dont see the worth of throwing it at the junky 16

This. And there's no such thing as a "factory lift."

Nope. My rear is 4" above stock and there's plenty of play in the original brake lines. I actually bought longer rear brake lines because All Pro told me I'd need them, but after installing the leaf springs, I saw that was not the case.

// edit - not sure what you mean by "bracket"

I guess I will keep it safe and just do a 2" lift. I don't go off-road but always loved the old school Toyota trucks of the 80s with big tires. Thanks for the info guys.

Personal experience but the 6112 and 5160 with 3 leaf AAL in rear was actually an upgrade in performance from my Trd OR suspension. You can squeeze about 2" out of this lift with a leveled look and get a better ride to boot. $1500 or less in hardware and 5 hours of labor with the help of a few TW members and a buddy.

The common way to measure is the center of the wheel vertically to the lip of the fender.

    You might ask 'why?'.

Because that method takes the tire size out of the equation, and allows the big boys to lift brag w/o getting confused over their rubber.
