I got this one from Northern Equipment, i think it was about 140-150$, works awesome. From 18psi to about 36 in less than a min and 1/2....and for smiths point you can do it outside the gate so your out of the sand.... sorry, Q-Industries MV-89

Demo for the nice Sunday weather. First time on the sand, flawless performance. Saw a few tacos, don't know any of you. Also determined via this trip that the Chevy Colorado is probably the ugliest truck I've ever seen.

Busy isn't really the word I would use for Sore Thumb. It's more packed.. I usually get there with the wife around 9pm to get a decent spot and try to hold one or two spots for 2 other buds by spreading my stuff out and parking sideways. We usually pack the night before so not to waist time the next day to head out early.

i work mon through friday so week days aren't the best for me but for going to the beach mon-fri are def the days to go to avoid the sardine can effect. Maybe during the summer i'll take a day and go though, or maybe 2-3!

lol, ok, that's what i thought. I would think the earlier the better!

They changed the Cut off date for the fishing permit a whole month. What a bunch of a-holes. I normally wait till end of april to get my permit.

Can the county pass be purchased at same locations? Does it give me access to Sore thumb? Thanks for your help. I normally get the smith point beach permit and Robert moses surf permit. This year i wanted to get the fishing one.

No, just the luxury of being rite on the beach with your truck. Smith Point and Shinnecock do have the inner part of the beach that is a nice trail you can go thru.

The beaches have speed limits, and lots of little kids... so pretty much water activities, cooking, hanging out...

beach driving is just that, Beach Driving... Not really exactly Off-Roading in the terms we all come to know here on TW.
