I always thought they need a vest and tags to identify them as service dogs

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Nope. There's no requirement for them to be identified and someone claiming they have a service dog cannot be asked to prove it. You put the harness on them as a purpose. THe harness tells the dog "we are at work now."

People also like to use it as a "service animal, do not touch." Which I quite like.

Although there is a work around with renters..... my family has had to deal with a few potential renters with "service animals"

Does anyone have 881's or know anyone who does who wants 882's? I need to go a size down to level my truck out.

The only question they are allowed to ask is what purpose their service animal does. (I think, and am pretty positive on this one) as I was looking in to it during my time living in Hawaii since no fucking rental place allowed pets.

There isn't a workaround other than don't rent to them. You can't deny them solely based on the fact they have a service animal. You can just choose not to rent to them though.

No I agree there that you can't deny rent to them just off a service animal, that's not what I was saying above, usually we avoid bringing up the animal at all if it's a factor since occasionally you'll get some person bouncing crazy off the walls about their "service animal"

If you provide no reason you're good. Saying "Because you have a service animal" is the equivalent of saying "Because you are disabled."

Doeant have to be innocent. Just reasonable doubt, right? I motion to bring back canings and stoning to death, or the firing squad (military has that option). Our courts and prisons are too tied up and keeping some jerk offs alive with 3 hots and a cot isn't worth our tax dollars. But I get it. Prisons are a business. Monies monies monies.

Don't even get me started on our system. I love our country, but there are some serious flaws in MY opinion. Not trying to start a debate either...

The system as written is fine. It's the blatant manipulation and disregard of the system that our politicians, jurists and lawyers are responsible for.
