Whole bunch of dirt and rocks laid out topographically conforming to a preset but infinitely variable wire mesh for small scale terrain definition. You probably wouldn't be interested... :p

Might as well, the build is kind of down to maintenance at this point. I'll prolly start posting summer wheeling pics in here.

You know I was just thinking how nice it was popping into your thread and being able to find useful information very quickly earlier today and now all the bs. Sorry I may have brought this upon you...

I blame sound of music Brett. :D
Nothing but respect for the guy though.
I doubt this thread will descend too far into anarchy.

No anarchy here just thoughtful discussion. Now if a third genner found themselves in this neck of the woods we might have some anarchy.

I have no problem with bs in my thread :D

I honestly feel that the majority of my build is complete at this point, maybe tire and wheel alterations, maybe the addition of a front locker, who knows. I would like to box in my frame, I am lacking help in removing the bed. I might be able to rig up something to pull it with my hoist.
For the most part, I'm gonna wheel it as is this summer and see how all the new OEM components in the front hold up to the stress of the "average build"

There is no complete, if you stagnate for too long random stuff starts breaking to keep you thinking about improvements. At least that's what happens to mine:bananadead:

I'm not talking about regular maintenance either, I have a sticky starter, weird stuff lol.

I know you have way more experience and automotive knowledge than myself. Always happy to see your take on things, even if it's wrong. :D

And this build can't be done! You need some proper suspension so you can keep up. :bikewhoops:

Took it out for a drive, found a few areas that are starting to thaw out.
Naturally, I forgot the chainsaw. So I didn't get to clear a lot of fallen trees like I normally would.

    Running dog.

I did remember the bike though. It was absolutely quiet out there, no tards to be found anywhere.

Picked up what looked to be two spent boxes of shells. Fairly typical to find treasure like this.

Took it down Deadman Road since it was still gated. Again, no people anywhere, no cars, took a leak right in the middle of the road, no pic.

This tree I did move, I felt obligated as it was too easy for people to drive around, like the guy on the ATV in the background who just rode right around it.

There he is again on his way back, looks like he's having a blast.
ATV's aren't allowed on this road anyway... But he's just a kid so prolly isn't aware.

Some creative strapping and the tree was out of the way.

    Was a good day.
As it melts off and things reopen, I'll post more pics of the places I frequent.

    Nice, Brett!

I'm looking forward to more trip reports and maybe a trip or two up that way at some point.

Thanks and kudos to you for cleaning up the shells. When I was camping up Leavenworth creek last year I hauled down a fucking printer that had been shot to hell.

Yes, that's right. Someone went all Office Space on a printer and left it up there. People suck.
