When I push my gas pedal all the way down it is sticking to the floor, sometimes briefly, sometimes for a few seconds. I have an '05 Pre-runner. I know that Tacoma's are not involved in the recall but was wondering if anyone knew if I could take it to a dealership to have them look at it. I have an extended warranty through a Mazda dealership that I brought it from but was wondering if Toyota might cover it.

while this was happening did you also lose steering control? or did the truck jerk violently to the right?

Don't press your gas pedal down all the way.

Did not lose steering nor did anything jerk. It's not like I drive around with the pedal to the floor, only when necessary to pass or merge onto highways.
