I have a 55 inch CVT awning standard series if anyone wants it. It's in the tan color, good condition. $175.

Cool, thanks for the response. Taking our family vacation in Oregon and will be spending most of the time in Medford, but I want to get in the car and see the state. I've heard a lot of kickass things to do in Bend.

Any chance you have a tent I could buy to go along with it?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a shop to install a new suspension? I'm going to buy a kit from the guys down in Grants Pass and thought about driving down there and just having them install too but the more I think about it, I think I'd save money by doing it locally. I've also been reading this thread over the last few months and can't recall anyone having a good shop in town for such an install, which will be new springs and struts in the front, leaf and struts in the rear, bushings, etc. I have yet to do that large of a project by myself and feel it might be more than what I can tackle on my own. So any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It's not that hard, I did mine. Not knowing what I was doing it took 2 days. At that time I didn't have a garage, I borrowed my neighbor's. Could do yours in a day if you have ALL the parts. Does your kit come with everything (i.e. bushings, bolts, etc)? You're likely going to need to cut the front bolts on the leaf springs to get them out. You have replacement bolts? Grade 10.5. You said struts in the back, you mean shocks?
You'll want to schedule an alignment before you start the project so you don't sit in limbo waiting on that. Plus, it's a motivator to get the job done knowing you have it scheduled.
It's all easy. Maybe we can schedule this for in my garage. Let me know your timeline. I usually have a solid weekend open.
You can swing by and look at mine.
Otherwise, check in with Scott at suspension specialties.

Addendum: you have a solid axle in front or ifs? No leafs on an ifs.

Do it yourself and get a friend to help. Extremely rewarding and a lot cheaper, bought my buddy 2 pizzas and some Pendleton for the help

It's worth doing it yourself, IMO. Installed mine last weekend by myself in my garage, took a good chunk of each day but that was mostly due to taking my time and being OCD about all the details. I'd recommend getting new springs up front if you can and have them pre-assembled so the entire assembly can just drop in. Power tools aren't absolutely necessary but are helpful at times, namely an impact gun of some sort, either elec. or air. Good floor jack and some jack stands and you'd be set.

Would also recommend what Willie said on scheduling an alignment for the Monday after the weekend you plan for install, to keep downtime to a minimum.

My rig we didn't cut out any of the bolts. Just reused everything except the bushings that come with the kit

Think this could mount to a baja rack roof basket on my cab?
