Took the badges off the side. A little dicey on a 8 year old black truck. Had to wet sand with 3000 grit at the end and buff the shine back into it.

Yeah I took mine off and the paint was etched,so I put oem black emblems back on. I'd rather none though.

I hit it with the goo gone about a dozen times. Clay barred the shit out of it and I could still see where the emblem was.

The 3000 grit wet sanding had it done in just a minute. Another minute with some polishing compound and you would never know they were there.

I couldn't find them for a while then I seen them on Amazon from a Pennsylvania Toyota dealer. I paid to much $900 with shipping but I have a set now

Mine you could feel with your fingernail, definitely visible and not going anywhere. What kills me is that I owned the truck from 2009, I wish I would have just taken them off years ago.

I just pulled my emblems on my 2010, used a heat gun to roll the adhesive tape up and FOREVER working the area with Mothers wax/cleaner to get the rest of the adhesive up. Way too many hours later but you can't tell they were ever there

I had Redline Tuning Elite struts sitting on the table for about 3 weeks and decided tonight was the night. Not too bad of an install. A couple Summits and a few f bombs was all it took. Now I gotta get that engine bay cleaned up.

Threw my Weathertech vent visors on too.

Got the 35s on! Super happy that I went with 4.88 gearing. Next weekend it's time for CBI ditch brackets, at the helm bedside reinforcements, and magnaflow exhaust :woot:

Oh ya that's a big lift huh. I have a 3 in icon lift. Would like bigger tires then a 285. But afraid of rubbing issues. As I have a little now with sharp off roading turns
