NFA wait times and BS thread

This is the website I used for both of my SBR stamps. It was an older version, but pretty much spot on as to giving me an idea on when they would be approved.

30-90 days for check being cashed for a form 4. Mine took 60 days.

 

Mine was 5 days, majority now should be much less than 30. Regardless he should check on its status

Federal government doesn't waste time taking your money, the wait between purchase and cashing the check is 90% going to be due to your store not submiting timely paper work

 

Judging by this, looks like they are now starting on July. Hopefully they would be finished by end of May. I sure the amount of submissions after July is extremely low, and next to none from January to now.

I had just called the automated number just for giggles. The system says they are currently 8 months behind

I'm a dealer, we are getting stamps back from the end of July '16 right now.

I'm at work and they can only check by fucking serial number. WTF!! Every other agency in the fucking country you can check by social, DOB, address, etc., but nope, not All The Fucktards....THEY want to be different....only the fucking serial number, cause that is something I carry around with me or have memorized.

 

Ah yea I didnt think to mention that Not sure why they use only serials but I thinks its because they enter it in the national database and only have that too look up from.

 

I've heard it will drop back to about a two to three month wait towards the end of the year but who knows with a federal agency as proficient as ATF
