    Yes it does. If it doesn't light on the first try, switch them. You won't hurt anything if you hook it up backwards, just won't work.

    Huh? You don't HAVE to solder anything. Use wire taps.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    just put mine in....maybe 5 mins w/ wire taps to the A/C controls. definately awesome. i'll try to get some pics when it gets dark for the controls dimming w/ the other lights.

    I saw the video of wire taps in the previous page, otherwise I am unfamiliar. Did you use a specific size, gauge, etc. or do they come in just a standard size?

    I think its pretty awesome and crazy how something as simple as a light for a switch makes all the difference, thanks for going through all this so we could have an economical solution to something toyota should have given us in the first place.

    I'll snap some pictures once it gets dark outside.

    they come in different sizes...color coded like the other connectors. all of these wires are small, so the red connectors would work best i believe. i used the blue ones and they worked, but its on the larger gauge side
