Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
You sir, do amazing work! The wall is absolutely awesome, and the windows are a great piece. I like the old with the new look, no sense in trashing something prefectly good. I have a queation though, how do you tear apart the pallets? They are such a PITA, and sawzall blades aren't cheap.

Saw a guy use a screw holder extension without bit on impact on youtube. Worked like a champ to drive nails out.

The wife spotted a cheaply made pergola at a big box store for $1800. I said I could make one way better for half the price. She took me up on it so this weekend I made one way better out of Redwood. She is happy and now feels like we have a spa experience in our back yard. It ended up being only 1/3 the price of the crappy one she wanted.

I have a 15 year old grape vine that I had to cut 1/2 off after the previous stand fell apart. It is now happy to grow on top of this pergola. It should cover it in shade in no time.

Ha ha no, J&L. I don't normally let a second party do my take offs but I have never done a metal roof. Having some carnal knowledge now, if I do another I will make the material list.

    Thank you very much!
i also use old windows to build my greenhouse.
Love old and new together, ironically works well with a modern design..
Since I like to keep the look of the nails in the wood, best way to tear down pallets I've found is to stand it on end, with the boards running parallel and the 2x4 vertical to the ground and start from the top with a sawzall demo blade. I can tear a pallet down in 1 minute. Ive also used the same blade for probably 50 pallets.

Swazall, keep the nails depending on the project! The wall we did wouldn't look the same without them.
