In for 12's all week. For a company that just announced layoffs not 2 weeks ago.....we sure are busy.
    9 strait days.

    No clue what happened.
The layoffs were for salaried, engineers, and Temps. Temps are still here but we lost our 1st shift Ops leader. She just transfered here.

We knew 1st quarter was loaded down but was told 2nd quarter was slack.
I think maybe it's all spares that we are doing now.

On the assembly side...they are already going out intermittently on extended leaves for weeks.
On the machining side (my side) we are balls up. They even started some weird 4th and 5th shifts running.

Well, working extra hours beats not working at all.

Great to know for when I install the same bar. Haha
I'll be hitting you up for tips when I get to it.
The only time I've thought those light bars up top haven't looked completely horrendous is when they're attached to a roof rack...even then it still looks silly.

Hope you're not complete salary and are getting some ot for all that.

    Naw, not salaried here.
Forcing myself to work as much as my body allows. I've got either a severe pulled muscle in my upper abdomen or a cracked/bruised rib.
It won't heal because I use that particular muscle on my left side when I torque bolts.
    It's never ending pain.

The install video on their site deliberately leaves these steps out of the process because it sucks so badly. It just tells you to do it in text.

18 months? You're a short timer! I still have a few years to go, thanks to some really stupid decisions I made way back.

I've really been getting used to sleeping during the day, so these past three shifts have been a breeze compared to when i first started working lol i would usually totally crash around 0330 or 0400 and would be miserable until going home around 7. Also really looking forward to having the next 4 days off... @Matic I can't even imagine working 9 of these in a row haha but I'm sure i'll get there. that paycheck would be absolutely killer...

    Killer for Uncle Sam. Lol.
Pretty sure I went 4 hrs over my tax bracket.
Anyway...there will be time later this year to take it easy. I promised that I would get my 4x4 conversion done by next fall, so that's what I'm pushing for. These 1st Gen parts are a bit cheaper to find.

Oh BTW.....guess who doesn't have to mow his yard anymore. :)

trying to figure out international flights that go to specific airports for the cheapest price, and making sure your friend is on board with the itinerary is a god damn pain in the ass.

Lol I'm in the process of tracking flights to the UK. Trying to fly out of Stockton so I don't have to park at SFO at $20.00 a day. Not flying till October so I have some time still....

I used to find peace in mowing.ive got a decent troy built rider and other nice yard tools. But it takes me nearly 3 hrs to mow, trim, cleanup, seed, feed, blah, blah blah a single acre.
My next door neighbor is retired army and he cuts lawns with a zero turn. Done in an hour including trimming. $40 bi weekly.

He'll, I'm running full throttle as it is. Ain't nobody got time for Saturday chores.
