They needed Tax history. So I sent them 2015.

Said they needed 2014. So, I faxed it over.

Said they needed birth certificates of children. Emailed that over.

Then, they needed social security numbers. Faxed that over.

Then they needed proof of residence. So, I sent them my DL and then I took pictures of our property, my vehicles and myself in the photos to be a smart ass....

Then, they wanted 7 years previous of tax returns. SO I had to create an account on IRS . G O V and then "authorize" WKU to have access to that info.

This process literally took 6 months.

 I missed that to, well done. Not sure if this has been said, but if so, reinforcement. Identify which 4 yr, or the short list of 4 yrs, and get an advisor in the college program you want to be in. Many/most/all have qualification criteria you have to meet to actually get into a major's program. Know what those are, and get your name in front of the program by staying in contact. Don't let yourself be surprised at the last minute from a lack of knowledge.

Its honestly a huge pain in the ass. Then once you are enrolled, you have to deal with the professors who act all high and mighty and organized and put all these "super concrete" deadlines for assignments in and then they don't fucking grade your shit until the last MOTHERFUCKINGWEEKOFSCHOOLSOYOUDONTEVENKNOWYOURFUCKINGGRADE.

I'M ABOUT TO FIRE A MOTHERFUCKER.

Definite downside to trying to use the gov't money. With my kids, for better, or worse, we get no help/aid, so for mine it's "easy", just stick the crowbar in the wallet, smile, and dole that shit out.

Best way to prime your components for installation is to make sure you are standing on carpet, slide your feet back and forth several times, then grab each component. If you don't hear a snap, and/or see an arc, then repeat.

I can understand that. I get quite a bit of aid however, as I don't make that much and I have a family of 4 that I support by myself....While I do have some student loans now I'm completely debt free otherwise.

No house payment, no car payments, no credit cards.....nothing.

Literally, student loans are my only debt. So the plan is to get my cost down with FIN AID and student loans will float me, and I can pay them off with tax returns...lol.

I'm at Western Kentucky University, and my first year cost me $3500.......................

Projected cost was well over the $20k mark.

Cut the pinch weld....Use a cut off wheel and remove about 2/3rds of the height, roughly 8" from bottom, on up into the fender well. THEN hammer the rest down flat. Next, weld the seam with a mig welder. THEN spray 3 or 4 coats of "FLEX SEAL". That's how I did it....Been in a few deep water holes, drove in several monsoon rains, not a hint of a leak.
