That is awesome. I'm always using two HD buckets haha. I dig that.

That turned out great! I was wondering if I could mount them without the plate. I might need to separate the 3 pack with where I need to do the install. Nicely done!

@1MK What spout do you have on your frontrunner water can? I'm not happy with the plastic one it comes with and am looking to upgrade to something easier to use.

How solid is the awning once deployed? Would you be worried about it in mild winds/rain?

Mild not so much, but as with any awning, it'll be similar.

This interests me highly.... would love to know how well it actually holds up in some wind though.

Tardy to the party but I also had the pressurized Jerry can and it was a hassle to deal with. Very cool concept and it does work, just over complicated. The main purpose I made it was so the wife could shower while camping. She's used it a few times but needs me to stand by and pressurize if need be. That water can was our wash water, so when it came time for dishes it sucked. I'd have to remove the can from the mount, unscrew the lid (because the pressure system uses a stem that pull water from the bottom) and pour water into our wash tub.. I started going on longer trips without her so the portable shower/pressurized Jerry can concept was a bust. I stumbled upon some rain collection drum information. These drums had a spikot at the bottom and I watch them be used as decent gravity fed spikot.. further research I found the "bulkhead fitting". Went to the local hardware store and turned my jerry can into a gravity fed water system, and it works great! Made a quick video before dark. It's so simple it's stupid. And I came across a used road shower for $100, happy wife happy life.
