Yep, realized there are some things I really want to change around when it comes to gear and how it is stored on trips.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I use these in my truck for gear storage.
They are almost made to go in the back seat of a Tacoma with the seats folded down. They fit in there 3 wide and 4 high if need be. I use 6 of them personally. Each one is dedicated for something for instance I have first aid in one, kitchen stuff in another. I keep camera gear, batteries zip ties and stuff of that nature in another. I also have one stocked with canned and dry food. They work great and the small size makes them easy to handle and organize.

Ha, I do not. Was thinking of building a platform for the back seat and either have some drawers or like a hinged box to be able to store stuff in.

Would then put the ARB fridge on the passenger side if I ever got one.

I like those, but want something I can easily grab stuff out of without having to move stuff from on top or and such.

    @Zac of all trades

You may think I was joking on that bumper thing... but really thinking about doing Aluminum now for some reason to conserve weight.

Already want to do the rear bumper in Aluminum when I finally purchase it.

Can you please save me a pair of the bed brackets? I need some for quick fist mounts.

Have any of you guys used something similar to this behind the front seats? My damned dog almost caused a wreck last road trip we had. If so, what brand and how did it fit. A picture installed would be awesome.

Nope, I use one of those dog hammocks you can but from Amazon for like 12 bucks. Works pretty damn great with my dog.

I have one of those but it flops in the middle and he can still jump between the seats over the console. I may just have to get a short leash and leash him to one of the seat belt buckles. He jumped over and missed the landing and ended up under my feet at 70mph.

I use a harness from Kurgo that has a strap and carabiner that you use on the seatbelt to keep them back there and safe.

Or they sell the seatbelt clips that hook into the actual seatbelt and then clicks to the dogs harness.

Found this. Might have to look into making something similar. $180 is a bit steep.

I used a section on tubular nylon mounted between the lower seat brackets with a second piece as a short lead that allows my dog to go back and forth without getting tangled or out a window.

Damn that looks sweet and honestly well worth the 180 price tag kinda.

May just use something that goes over the headrests and has a panel between the headrests should be all you should need honestly.

I let her hang out the side, she can't hit the ground if she exits

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Good to see y'all make it to the mine.

Didn't make it to the hot spring?
