I DID A BAD THING :(

I was going to do that today but I got busy and I didn't have time to take it apart and drive it to work in the morning, my airbox is broken as well so that might be why the maf is getting dirty fast, I've already gotten a replacement on the way, hopefully this week it will be here, i might order a replacement motor for my window but I'm not sure what else I should check other than the switch ? Anyone have any ideas

 

Take the switch assembly out and run power direct to motor. The pinout and way to check is in the FSM. I'm at the gym. I can upload some pdf files when i get home.

 

The step side is growing on me I need to paint the chrome grille ASAP i have a extra black and chrome stock grille I'll paint or just put it on probably

So get this , I whent to get my windows tinted, and the guy took my window off the track for no reason then he also drilled a screw into myndoor to hold my window up we made a deal for 120$ to replace the window motor, so it going to go through with that cause I was getting angry he whent from 180$ to 120$ idk I've always wanted power windows so I guess it's worth it to me , I just didn't expect to spent so much money I needed to buy other things

 

What the fuck did he do that for? Just ran a screw thru the inner door!

 

Here's the story I got I almost had a fucken heart attack ,

He didn't tell his guy the window wouldent roll up and he decided to take the track off the window instead of putting it back on and running it back up he just drilled a screw through the sheet Metal to hold the window up !

 

Windows at the shop so my power windows will actually work perfect still wasn't planning on buying it all together kinda pissed

They guy almost walked away cause I started to freak the fuck out, keep in mind this guys shop is across the street from my family shop that's been here since 1979 so I can't sit there and make a huge deal outa it have nothing fixed and then my trucks in front of his shop everyday I mean it's fucked I'm pissed but what am I gona do

 

They do great work but they did some Afro engineering that made the one guy look like fucken dumb ass,

After everything he was like yeah sorry I shoulda asked you before I did that !!! I laughed and said no you just shouldn't of done somthing so childish, I was so angry I almost got racial but he took my offer to fix my window motor so idk I whent home and got Ire still angry though, they have my truck now

 

Well the trucks done I called to see when they'd be done and they said it's sitting there done for a while so let's see what they decided to do this time

 

So the idle issue was pretty funny, my airbox has maybe 4 large fist size holes I have no idea how this thing was even sitting in there I pulled it out and it totally flew out without pulling a screw, I knew it was bad so I already had gotten a new one before I pulled it out but I mean it's BAD it's to funny I put the MAf on my table and just wiped off a little dirt it was honestly a night and day difference the second I start up my truck all day it felt perfect

Hope it doesn't back fire on me, I feel like I need to do the distributor cap and wires with spark plugs some time soon, I need to do front and rear diff oil and tranny I'm not sure what to do first yet my truck still has stickers on the front diff to tell me what oil to use I was kinda surprised
