    Good morning.

    Wishes for a speedy and as pain free recovery as possible.

    Sunday almost hit 70 and sweated my ass off working outside this last weekend. Last night took the dog out before bed and snow was building on the truck.

    more snow.jpg

    32 this morning life is back to normal whatever the hell that is in Mn. Yes that is my garden hose laying in the driveway where I left it when it started raining last night as I was trying to clean the mud off the drive. And no I didn't drain it, refuse to admit that I need to.

    Morning all

    Stay safe with the weird weather.

    We are back to a nice spring here, sunny and 72°.

    Got notice that the company vehicle is being delivered this week. A dodge ram power master city. Sounds good but it is an ugly, underpowered uncomfortable work van. But it will save wear and tear on the Taco.

    Good morning 50's posse.
    Sorry to hear about the wicked weather in Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. You guys are tuff, I am not sure I could live with that for one season much less year after year.

    I always figured if work wants to give me a rig, I'm going to drive the wheels off it. I'm one that doesn't beat on them, but I'll sure use it for what I can.

    The only reason I have avoided it has been the telemetrics. Tells them where I am and how fast I am going. I don't do anything I'm not supposed to, but it is very big brother.

    I'm going to guess that translates to:
    Ugly = functional
    Underpowered = decent fuel economy
    Uncomfortable = inexpensive

    Back when I was in EMS we had MDT's in our rigs. Monitored 20 some-odd aspects of your ambulance. Speed, rpm, braking force, turning force, blinkers, emergency lights, seatbelts, etc. Also GPS and navigation. Felt like a fish in a bowl.

    I hated the MDT's when I was a auto club tow truck operator
