Per @rmepilot bought a #3 Phillips. Time to crank 'em up!

 

Ok so I need a rear bumper, mines taking a beating and missing pieces. CBI has a standard (no swing outs) in stock ready to go but the light cut outs are for rigid sr-ms and i have sr-qs which are bigger. No big deal, sure I can swap with someone and srms will be fine.

RCI said he can make me one in time for Moab, or he will sell me the one off his truck for half price. It's scratched up which I dont care about, but it was the prototype and is made with 10ga instead of 3/16.

Pelfrey, C4, mobtown, etc are all too far out.

What do???

 

let your rear bumper get torn up at Moab then replace it later lol. that's my plan.

How much pressure do I need to apply to these coilovers the jack them up. I'm putting an aweful lot of pressure and they are not budging

yeah wd-40 and also qhen they are new they are pretty stiff. After you put some miles on them you can turn the preload with one hand.

 

is that just like a cheese pizza or pizza you eat with no clothes?

 

650. I might just get those spring compressor from advanced auto. Free rental. I know they are not recommended but I figure they'll be ok since I'm not compressing the spring alot, just taking a little pressure off.

 

I am really scratching my brain on this, but if I remember right @rmepilot took the bottom bolt loose so the whole spring could turn. Not 100% on that memory though.

We didn't do much exploring offroad, we were solo and had the canoe on top.
