Not sure what is less reliable, cheap Chinese LEDs or Amazon reviews. Most of the positive reviews on an item like this are worthless if they are posted just after installing them when they should be working flawlessly. Then you have the negative reviews that are operator error, or expecting something out of a product that they should't.

While I don't have the OPT7, I have seen pretty good feedback here and elsewhere on their bulbs (as well as the two stroke Morimoto). Personally I wouldn't purchase any bulb that wasn't made by Philips or their other brands, but thats just me and past experience with other lighting. I went with the Xenondepot Philips HID kit and am happy with it. I will at least give the OPT7 credit in that they have been around for some time so they must be doing something right.

Yep after a phone call with them.. that how they are and the correct shock for that kit. Just looks silly to me. It will have to grow on me i guess.

I have had mine in for a year now.. I have no complaints. About 4 months ago the passenger side wouldn't come on so Emailed them and the sent out a new harness and that solved the issue. Only took a day or 2 to resolve the issue. Still as bright today as when I put them in. I would like to know some options for the Hi- beam if anyone has good results?? Thought about the SilverStar zXe..

Awesome. Thanks for the input. I'll look into those HIDs you have.. Probably go with those or give the opt 7s a shot. Worst case I guess I can return it right? Haha.

I had them for a little while for fog lights. Bright but now much throw to them. Ended up selling them to a buddy. Currently using Morimoto 2Strokes for low beams. Def better than Opt7s but not the greatest thing ever made. Also using Baja Designs Squadron Sports for fogs. They're awesome, i don't think I'll ever swap them.

I'll look into those as well. What about high beams? Any recommendations for that?

Light bar, kidding. I haven't upgraded high beams yet so I'm in the same boat unfortunately.

Plasti-dip emblems and front grill. 2in Leveling Kit in front.
I bought some plasti dip today and I am going to black out my emblems and grill until I can get a Trd Pro grille. Has anyone done this and if so could you share some tips or advice on how to do it that would be awesome.

I had some fun today - Now that it's finally warm enough, I washed and waxed it, installed my Softopper, Hondo knobs, AVS vent visors, reflective tailgate decals, "Scout's mobile mud room" from Duluth Trading Company as well as some front seat covers. My dog, Io kept me company.

Worse case scenario you could swap them out for something different. It would be pretty easy and straightforward to do yourself since you'd just be replacing the rear shocks.

So what does every brand new truck need? Why, a 3/4" hole in the roof, of course!

This allows me to install my NMO antenna mount. Two of them actually:

But why stop there? How about another 1" hole?

Here are the three antennas mounted:

That is an interesting concept. Does it fold down? Or fast on/off?

It should answer all your questions. I have always had a hard camper shell on my truck but found it limiting. Those are also a real pain to take off. This folds forward and allows me to carry something that is taller than the top of the shell. The downside (from what I have read here) is that they are not as secure or as waterproof as hard shells. We shall see. I don't store anything in the bed. I'll use this for camping and when the dog is just too dirty to allow her into the cab. It's mud season here in the mitten.
