No lever. The mechanizm must be in perfect vertical position to unlock. There is a ball inside (works on gravity) that moves the locking lever. In accident there is deceleration that moved the ball and locks the belt. In normal condition if belt is locked and ball is centered the belt must be retractted (release the tension) to unlock it.

@TacoVio I did the ES poly mounts a couple weeks ago and it realigned my body lines. My cab was also ~ 1/4" lower than the bed. I posted a pic in this thread at the time. It was most noticeable where the bedliner on my rocker panel is.

As far as vibes, stiffness, jolts, etc, I really noticed no difference at all. The poly is soft. I could actually squish/deform it in my hand.

Best advice is start PB blasting it now and plan on doing it in a month! The bolts were a pain! Also get a nice set of ratcheting box end wrenches. The bolts holding the mounts on go in from the top and you won't have much room to work between the body and frame.

    Hope this helps.

Those ratcheting end wrenches are a huge time saver. Gotta order some quick before I start taking my front end apart!

Installed YAKIMA Q tower rack on my cab and Yakima control tower rack with tracks on my Camper. I installed the Yakima loadwarrior basket and slapped on my hilift jack and an axe and shovel.

Plastidipped my replacement rear bumper black. The Original bumper was chrome and had a nasty dent. I found a replacement on CL

Now my original rear driver's side seatbelt is broken in a weird way. The entire length of the seatbelt is fully retracted and will not go back into the retraction mechanism. If you pull on it there is no spring action and nothing happens. It just locks since it is the end of the belt.

Is this seatbelt something that's fixable? I bought the replacement seatbelt since it was on the parts truck I was getting parts from.

If not I'll just install the new seatbelt, I don't want to replace it if I don't have to though.
