I had the same mount on the same spot. Make sure to let it bond for a day before using it. I used the phone mount to soon and the sticky bond didn't last long. Good choice though!

Was it pretty much plug and play from the original hardware?

Been busy with cam tab gussets, coil bucket gussets, swapping super bumps for daystar, new OEM rack, fresh Whitline bushings, probably some other stuff, and now got some Kings to mount in the back.

So 555 is not OEM I understand... but according to two local Toyota dealers and low range off-road 555 is making those parts for the OEM replacement?

I can't remember how 555's business model works..but they i think do make the OEM parts. However, they still aren't the same. @Dirty Pool once explained this..maybe i can dig up the post.

So the dealer I use...keeping in mind I have a friend in the parts dept tells me 3 weeks or more to get OEM. He tells me they have had BO ball joints off and on since the new year, so they have been giving the option of 555 cause they are the old OEM part manufacturer. Since the parts were started to be manufactured in the US, and the uptick in new vehicles being made they couldn't keep up on the older parts? Did the ball joints change in the 1st gen to 4th gen? I know my lady's 2nd and bosses 3rd is definitely different at least visually

    3 weeks???

You can get them from Camelback in a week or so..haha if that.

1st gen vs 2nd gen and 3rd gen LBJ design is drastically different. idk what you mean by 4th gen..

I had 555 ones on Frankenstein for about 5 months. They have a 555 stamped on them. Compared to the OEM ones i replaced them with..it was night and day difference on how the joint moved. Not even in the same league much less same ball park.
